چکیده
Background: Pain due to open cholecystectomy can result in delayed recovery and poor operative outcomes. Multimodal approaches pain control cause functional improvement. We compared the efficacy of paracetamol 1 g, dexamethasone 8 mg, magnesium sulfate 2 g with normal saline over perioperative hemodynamics post-operative patients undergoing under general anesthesia. Aims Objectives: This study conducted assess effect preemptive intravenous paracetamol, dexamethasone, on hemodynamic variables (primary outcome) nausea, vomiting, (secondary cholecystectomy. Materials Methods: Sixty ASA Grade I/II were randomized into two groups receive either 100 ml iv (Group C, n=30) or infusion containing inj. mg (group PDM, n=30), 20 min before induction. Intraoperative data, scores, incidence nausea vomiting recorded. Results: pulse rate was significantly higher at intubation 15 after group intraoperative systolic, diastolic, mean arterial blood pressure until 60 min. Post-operative 180 PONV reduced PDM 90 Conclusion: Preemptive provided better stability hemodynamics, control.

Comparison of preemptive effect of intravenous ketorolac versus meperidine on postoperative shivering and pain in patients undergoing cesarean section under spinal anesthesia: A prospective, randomized, double-blind study
Background: Pain and shivering are two unpleasant problems in postoperative period. Various techniques are used to alleviate the postoperative shivering and pain. We compared the preemptive prescription of a single dose of intravenous meperidine and ketorolac on postoperative pain and shivering in patients undergoing cesarean section with spinal anesthesia. Methods: One hundred and ...
متن کاملThe Effect of Ondansetron and Dexamethasone on Nausea and Vomiting under Spinal Anesthesia
BACKGROUND During abdominal surgery under regional anesthesia, nausea may happen due to several contributing factors. This study compared the effects of ondansetron and dexamethasone on nausea and vomiting under spinal anesthesia. METHODS One hundred and twenty patients of 15 to 35 years old with ASA class I and II were enrolled. Before administering either ondansetron or dexamethasone, blood p...
متن کاملEffect of acupressure on post operative nausea and vomiting
Introduction: Nausea and vomiting is one of the most common postoperative complications. Aside from pharmacological interventions, other complementary healing modalities have been introduced to assist patients in decreasing this complication. This study examined acupressure as a potentially safe method (comparing to the traditional approach of using drugs) for preventing and or reliving nausea ...
متن کاملEffect of single-dose intravenous ibuprofen before surgery on post-anesthesia pain: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Introduction: During the last few years, the trend of using non-opioid drugs for the management of pain after surgery has been highly welcomed, and on the other hand, considering the contradictory results of the preventive use of intravenous ibuprofen before surgery, the present study aimed at the effect of a single dose of intravenous ibuprofen before surgery. A systematic review and meta-anal...

objective: this study aims to identify whether dexamethasone can be used in the prevention of nausea and vomiting after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) under general anesthesia. Methods: 400 patients who were performed with LC under general anesthesia were chosen and divided randomly into two groups with 200 patients each, namely ramosetron group and dexamethasone group. Results: there’s no s...
